Shop local this Canada Day weekend at A&N

It all began with a truck full of bargain merchandise, a bank loan and a simple no-frills philosophy. Sam Cohen opened the first Army & Navy store on West Cordova St. in 1919. This opening was quickly followed by the opening of several other locations, making Army & Navy Canada’s first discount department store chain.

Sam’s legacy proudly continues on through his granddaughter, Jacqui Cohen, current President and CEO of Army & Navy. To this day, A&N remains 100% Canadian owned & operated.

This Canada Day A&N encourages you to explore Canada’s heritage and shop local! Sign up for our mailing list and watch your inbox for a special Canada Day promotion for both online and in store! This special deal is arriving in inboxes on Thursday June 30th, so be sure to sign up soon!
