Celebrate this Father’s Day in the great outdoors with the 16th Annual Family Fishing Weekend. From Friday June 19th – Sunday June 21st (Father’s Day) Canadian families are invited to participate in a weekend of fun, adventure and free fishing!
There are several events hosted by the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC happening all over BC. Be sure to check out one of the following events:
June 20: Trail – Champion Lake Provincial Park, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
June 20: Victoria – Malahat Outdoor Sports Centre, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
June 21: Coquitlam – Lafarge Lake (Town Centre Park), 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
June 21: North Vancouver – Rice Lake (Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve), 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
June 21: Kamloops – Walloper Lake, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
June 21: Nanaimo – Westwood Lake, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m
The Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC will be loaning out Rapala rods and tackle for free at these events.
